High John the Conqueror holds an important place within African American folklore and hoodoo. He represents resilience, intelligence, courage, wit, strategy, resistance, survival, and the power to remain spiritually unbroken even when circumstances attempt to press you down.
High John is not only connected to ordinary good luck. His energy represents the ability to think your way through difficulty, outlast opposition, recognize an opening, and refuse to accept defeat as your permanent condition. This is a one-candle community lighting. Participants are not purchasing individual candles.
All participant names will be added to one main High John the Conqueror candle. The candle will be spiritually cleansed, dressed with High John the Conqueror oil and supporting spiritual ingredients, prayed over, and burned on the House of Vasori altar under one united ritual intention.
Bringing all names together allows the community to stand within one focused energy of victory, power, luck, opportunity, financial movement, and open roads.
