The House of Vasori Conjure Chicken Feet Collection features real dried and cured chicken feet that are individually transformed by hand into distinctive spiritual working pieces.
Traditionally, the chicken foot has been associated in Hoodoo and conjure with protection, spiritual defense, removal, and scratching away unwanted conditions. Just as the chicken scratches through the earth, the chicken foot carries the symbolism of scratching away obstacles, negativity, crossed conditions, and unwanted influences.
Every House of Vasori piece begins with a chicken foot that has already been dried and cured. From there, I hand-paint the foot, select and place every feather individually, wrap and finish the piece, and add the details and embellishments by hand.
These are not mass-produced items. Depending on the size and design, a single piece can take hours to complete. My time, craftsmanship, creative work, and spiritual intention are part of every piece I make.
Because real chicken feet and natural feathers are used, no two pieces will ever be identical. Variations in shape, feathers, coloring, texture, placement, and handmade details are part of the character of the work and are not defects.
These pieces may be incorporated into personal spiritual practice, altar work, home protection, or business protection according to the owner's tradition and intention.
