In conjure and folk spiritual traditions, chicken feet have long been associated with scratching away unwanted conditions, protection, defense, removing obstacles, and spiritually guarding a person or space. Each of my pieces takes that traditional symbolism and turns it into an individual handcrafted spiritual tool with its own visual character and intended focus.
The Still Mind features a naturally dried and cured chicken foot that I have personally hand-painted in deep blue tones with turquoise and light detailing. The piece is finished with a full arrangement of blue, teal, black, and complementary feathers, with every feather individually selected, positioned, and attached by hand. At the center is a seated Buddha-style medallion that gives this particular piece its unmistakable character of stillness, contemplation, wisdom, and inner balance.
This piece can be incorporated into personal spiritual work surrounding peace, mental clarity, wise decision-making, discernment, meditation, protection from chaotic energy, and maintaining your composure when circumstances around you are anything but peaceful. It may also be kept near an altar, spiritual workspace, meditation area, entrance, office, or another intentional space in the home.

I purchase the chicken feet already professionally dried and cured. From there, the transformation is done by hand. I paint the foot, create the detailing, select the feathers, arrange them individually, secure them, wrap and finish the piece, and add its decorative elements.
A single chicken foot can take approximately 4–6 hours to complete. My time, creativity, craftsmanship, and energy go into every piece.
Because these are created from a natural chicken foot and completed entirely by hand, variations and imperfections are part of the piece. Natural differences in the foot, feathers, paint texture, positioning, and handmade details should be expected. These are not factory-produced items, and no two will ever be exactly alike.
Standard Conjure Chicken Feet may include a simple wire loop on the back for hanging, depending upon the construction of the individual piece. If present, it allows the piece to be displayed on a wall, near an entrance, around a spiritual workspace, or wherever you choose to keep it.
It may also be placed on an altar or table, kept in its presentation box when not in use, or brought out specifically when you are doing spiritual work.
Your Standard piece will arrive carefully packaged in a smaller presentation box, which also provides a convenient place to store it when you do not wish to have it displayed.
Your chicken foot is intentionally left for you to establish your personal spiritual relationship with it. After your order ships, you will receive separate activation and care instructions by email explaining how to prepare and begin working with your piece.
This allows the final connection to be made between you, your intention, and your spiritual tool.
